Infosys Limited is seeking an experienced software engineer for a specialized Python GenAI role within its Engineering Services division in Bangalore. This position bridges core Python backend development with cutting-edge artificial intelligence infrastructure. In this role, you will develop and scale Python-based applications, construct robust data preprocessing and validation pipelines for AI use cases, and support the integration of machine learning models into backend services. A primary highlight of this modern role is the engineering of advanced Agentic AI workflows, requiring hands-on knowledge of frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to deploy autonomous AI systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Computer Science or a related quantitative technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional IT experience focused heavily on backend software engineering and data science implementations.
• Excellent mastery of the Python programming language, including object-oriented programming (OOPs) design patterns, standard data structures, and algorithms.
• Solid working knowledge of Agentic AI architectures, orchestrating multi-agent networks using LangChain and LangGraph, and deploying integrations via Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Deep conceptual understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering paradigms, basic deep learning mechanics, and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Practical awareness of exposing model inference layers using RESTful APIs and lightweight web frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Regular hands-on experience handling data engineering and validation using libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and creating visualizations via Matplotlib or Seaborn.
• Good working baseline of relational querying using SQL, alongside version control best practices utilizing Git and GitHub within IDEs like VS Code or PyCharm.
